These are super nice shoes, a little heavier than expected but nice. They run small....I wear a 71/2 and I ordered an 8 and they fit like a 6, so be sure to order a little bigger.
A Good Little Shoe (2009-02-24)
I've used these shoes for 2 years now, and I bowl 3 - 4 times a week. These shoes are great for the bowler who doesn't bowl often and are looking for a good shoe for a good price.
The good things about this shoe:
~ Great arch support
~ Good value for the price
~ Holds up well with wear
~ It is easily found in a wide width (And there aren't many wide width bowling shoes!)
~ Looks like an athletic shoe - some like that look
The not so good things about this shoe:
~ This shoe is a little small. I have one foot that is a size 10 and the other is a size 10 1/2. Normally, I can wear a size 10 - except in athletic shoes, where I need a size 10 1/2. Heck, it's difficult enough to find a wide width in bowling shoes, let alone a size 10 1/2! And a size 11 is just too big. This worked for me, but not always the most comfortable.
~ The shoe is white, and I swear it picks up dirt faster than any shoe I've ever had! I know I'm tough on shoes, and I know bowling alleys are not the cleanest places, but dang!
~ Ater 2 years, these shoes look "old." Now, I bowl 3 - 4 times a week, and when we travel, we take our bowling bags and bowl on the road. It just seems these shoes break down quickly. YMMV
~ These shoes look like an athletic shoe. Some might like that, others might not. I'm not thrilled with it. It was the only wide width bowling shoe I could find at the time.
~ Does not really slide all that well. (Which may be a plus, depending on how you bowl)
I don't mean to come down too harshly on this shoe. If you are a casual bowler and don't want to use the rental shoes, this is a great little bargain shoe. If you bowl more often, you might want to look for something else. This is not the most comfortable shoe, but it will see you through a couple of games one or twice a week.
Mother loved the shoes. (2009-01-09)
My mother wanted these bowling shoes for Christmas. She tried them out, and they fit perfectly and were comfortable. She was very happy with them.

The shoe had a wonderful fit. Looked exactly as it did in pic and was true to size.

These shoes were great, I just wish I would have payed attention to the fact that they run a little small.
