I actually don't bowl. I bought these shoes because I like the look -- they are so ugly, they're cool. They are comfortable, durable, and economical. I wear them to work on casual days, and received many, many compliments on my cool choice of footwear. And another positive characteristic is that they are man-made, as I'm semi-vegetarian and prefer to not support the slaughter of animals for clothing and shoes.
